Pride of Utopia « Thread Started on Dec 1, 2007, 1:31am »
Hooves against stone resounded against the mountain’s cliffs as the mare continued her steady climb up the mountain side, she had taken this root dozens of times in the past two years and it was becoming second nature, and that was the danger. Get to thingyy and lose your balance you were a goner. Her gait was one of dignity that of a beauty, but it was also one that demanded respect.
She had a long magnificent heritage, and her ancestors had ruled the neutral lands for two generations now, she was the third. It brought a sense of pride in her to be the leader of such a herd. This was Eclipse, Daughter of Wakeme, Son of Jolin. She had been leader of the Neutral Herd since her father’s passing one year ago.
She could still remember her first trip up to the meeting place when she was alone. It had been so intimidating to stand in front of Rama and Loche, and their offspring, Hurricane and Colbalt. But she had not let it show telling herself nothing but courage would get her through now. Although it was a bit shaky it had gone fairly well. Since then Loche and Rama had passed and Colbalt and Hurricane had come to leadership. Hurricane was the leader of the light pack, and she never ceased to amaze Eclipse at how “good” she could be. Colbalt however was at the complete opposite side of the spectrum, he was the bad boy, and even that was an understatement.
Even though Eclipse had never admitted it, and never would she had always had some kind of freaky attraction to the stallion, but maybe that was because all of the stallions from her herd were weak like her brother Gath. She didn’t know what it was but she would never admit to anyone she liked him, and she would never let on to such a thing. She merely kept him at a safe distance, and let Hurricane at him.
Eclipse could tell that Hurricane had had a thing for Colbalt for some time now. She just would never admit it like Eclipse wouldn’t but Eclipse could tell, for mares can often tell these things. It was in the way she acted whenever he was around that gave her away. Eclipse rounded a slight bend and lifted her head to look around. Her dark black mane gently flapping in the wind, her keen brown eyes looking for her fellow leaders.

The hawk-like eyes scanned every inch of the land he could see, his ears peeling for any pin drop noise, then he would be there. He had taken this route many times before and thought it was so much fun walking up it. But most of all of liked it because that meant he would get to meet the one he loved, Eclipse she was the leader of the Neutrals. She was the daughter of Wakeme who was the son of Jolin, he only wished that Eclipse was a dark like himself. Then there was always Hurricane the goddie goodie of the three leaders. Hurricane was the daughter of Rama who was the son of Anghel. But he was the dark leader, the most smartest and vicious of them all, he was Colbalt son of Loche who was the son of the great Klamity.
Sometimes it helped being the only stallion out of the three leaders, that meant he had the choice of who he wanted to mate with. He had known this path so well that his legs seemed to take him along the path he normally took. Smiling as he saw Eclipse he spoke his voice cool and smart.
Look who we have here.
The light leader came trotting up the path, she had smelt Eclipse and Colbalt near by. Once she reached the top with ease she hear what Colbalt said, she walked passed him brushing his side, she could tell what he was going to do and she didn't like it one bit. She hissed slowly but in a kind voice to Colbalt.
What do you want fish brain?!.
She looked at Eclipse and gave her a wink, Eclipse was the daughter of Wakeme who was the son of Jolin. The dark leader Colbalt was the son of Loche who was the son of Klamity. Herself she was the leader of the light alliances, daughter of Rama who was the son of Anghel. They had all been in the leading business had been going for two centuries.

Eclipse heard the two approaching behind her, she quickly turned never a good idea to have your back to a dark horse, her father had always taught her this, not that Colbalt would try anything right now, and he would be out numbered since Hurricane had just arrived. She looked him up and down, and then said with a cool air about her. I can see you haven’t changed a bit. She said.
Eclipse had a voice that was deep, but not that of a stallion it was a deep appealing voice, ever bit as feminine as she was herself. She looked at him once more, and then turned her gaze upon the ever sweet Hurricane. Being Neutral Eclipse had sympathies for both sides. She had the potential to be both a bad girl, and a good girl changing her disposition quickly and easily.
Greetings Hurricane. She said cordially. She found her gaze drift back to Colbalt, why did he all of a sudden seem more appealing than usual. Her eyes must be playing tricks on her. She returned her gaze back to the other mare. Eclipse liked Hurricane even though she could be almost to sweet and good at times for Eclipse’s taste, something was telling Eclipse today was not the day she felt like being the good girl.
Maybe it was because breeding season was soon to be coming on, and she was in the presence of the only stallion in the whole land worth breeding with. She didn’t know but she was having a harder time forcing herself not to look at Colbalt this time.

The stallion watched Hurricane with a great look of hatred, though when he turned to Eclipse he gave her a mickering look of Hurricane, though as she spoke he changed his looked to another look of hatred and used his cunning brain to think up something, hoping his brain was right once again.
See I am not wanted here, have fun trying to find decent mates girls.
With one vigorous nod of his head Colbalt turned away and began walking back. But as Hurricane spoke he turned his head and spoke, his voice almost dangerous.
Do you know? Lets see who side Eclipse here will take. Eclipse who's side will you take this time?.
He stared at her, with his most charming look he could provide he knew she wanted him he could tell by the looks he got when she looked at him. But the thing was he wanted her as much as she could wish. Now it was up to her where his heart would belong.
As the other queen spoke Hurricane hissed slightly at the tom. As the queen spoke to her, she nodded her head and replied easily with the most lovely voice she had.
Greeting Eclipse.
She then faced Colbalt and spoke in a mean and angry voice that rarely escaped her maw.
No greetings for you, found a mate yet? Cause you are not even going to try on me or Eclipse are you?.
As he replied, she hissed again and saw the look he gave Eclipse and just sneered at him and faced Eclipse and spoke gently.

She listened with interest and then watched amused as Colbalt began to tread away. She wasn’t going to say anything, let him leave make things easier for her anyways. But then Hurricane opened her big mouth. Finding a mate had been a touchy subject during these meetings the past few weeks. Yes they were all past due, most found mates at about the age of three, they were all going into their fourth year.
She just wanted to tell Hurricane to kept her big mouth shut for once, but it was to late the damage had been done, Colbalt was angry. She watched him for a moment until he spoke, and then she blinked. She wasn’t quite sure what to say to tat question, she was about to deny her affections once again but the look Colbalt was giving her was speaking volumes. It was almost scary. She had zoned out for just a second, until she heard Hurricane’s sugary sweet voice once again call her name.
Eclipse looked to her then to Colbalt once more. The look in his eyes was still wearing on her; it was almost as if he wanted her just as much as she wanted him, only one way to find out. Surely we would never find such a great stallion anywhere Colbalt. She said then was silent. She turned to Hurricane slightly. Would you really prefer him go now Hurricane. Wouldn’t you miss him even a little bit.
Re: Pride of Utopia « Reply #5 on Dec 1, 2007, 12:24pm »
Colbalt smiled at Eclipse as she spoke, it seemed that she did want him as much as he wanted her. He spoke to her; surprisingly his voice was kind of soft but not too much.
Thank you, but I think such a beautiful and talented mare like you could find a great tom with a flick of your tail .
As Hurricane replied to Eclipse’s and his own comments he hissed.
How dare you! You piece of scum! I wonder why you can’t find a mate! Who would in their wildest dreams think of you?
He then rounded on Eclipse again, this time his eyes had a hint of love in them, he was sure the mare could see it, he had overdone what he had said to Hurricane though he didn’t care.
As the mare beside her spoke Hurricane knew that Eclipse was trying to defend Colbalt. She hissed silently at her and then replied.
Why would I miss such and idiotic tom? How could you take his side? .
As the tom spoke, she rounded on him and hissed words, she hadn’t hissed in a long time.
How dare you? I could find a mate if I wanted to though I don’t want to go through the pain! .
As he tried charming her with idiotic words. Then she turned to Eclipse and said.
Please tell us whose side you are taking this time the lights or the darks .
She knew that this was the last decision, though she didn’t want it to be the last meeting she knew it might as well be. Looking to Eclipse, it was her who had the last say it was Eclipse who was to end this argument.
Re: Pride of Utopia « Reply #6 on Dec 1, 2007, 2:30pm »
Eclipse stared at them both as the argument continued, and shook her head. This always happened. Hurricane and Colbalt couldn’t keep out of each other’s hair, even when Hurricane was in the sweetest of moods. And Eclipse once again found herself in the middle. Her tail swished lightly as Colbalt approached her; she looked at him, and saw something in his eyes.
It was something she had never seen before in him. A hint of love, which she had never known him to be capable of, she looked deep in his eyes for a moment then looked back to Hurricane. Their little circle was getting very condensed, and she was up against the wall.
Then she returned her gaze to Colbalt, looking into his eyes once more. I must say on this one I must side with Colbalt. I’d miss him if he left. She said with a bit of a flirtatious glint in her eyes. She looked to Hurricane and then spoke softly. This alliance needs all three of us. She said. Without Colbalt we’re not the same. She said.
Her voice was steady and calm, her actions steady. She was calm even though this fight was escalating into something more than just a little squabble between the two.

As Eclipse replied he sighed and said calmly once Eclipse had said that it wouldn't be right with Colbalt there.
Well then, if I may have the pleasure of asking. Eclipse would you become my mate?.
He asked in a playful but serious tone, what he was going to do was not playing around, the foals he was going to have were to be the future king or queen of the dark side. He sighed as Hurricane spoke up again with her big mouth but silenced her immediately.
Hurricane, this is Eclipse's decision, but yes we must bring peace between the alliances but I just don't mix with you Hurricane, I mix with Eclipse when she is in a playful mood though.
The thoroughbred stallion walked over to Eclipse's side and nuzzled her gently. She was so beautiful why couldn't she be a dark life himself?
As Eclipse spoke, Hurricane nodded, and then listened to Colbalt, immediately she spoke.
No Eclips-.
She was silenced by Colbalt, for once she knew he was right. This was Eclipse's chance and Hurricane wasn't going to wreck it. Then Colbalt spoke again and Hurricane piped up.
Yes, but sometimes we must put our differences aside must we not?.
Re: Pride of Utopia « Reply #8 on Dec 1, 2007, 2:56pm »
Eclipse’s ears must have been deceiving her. She returned her gaze to Colbalt, and was about to speak as Hurricane interjected. She watched Hurricane and Colbalt, when Colbalt approached her and nuzzled her, she closed her eyes relishing in the touch of the one she truly loved although she never had admitted it.
Her mind was set; she knew what she had to do. If her herd was to survive they needed a great leader, the foals would be great, and it was the truth. And if she was to survive she needed Colbalt. She opened her beautiful brown eyes and stretched around to nuzzle him back gently.
If you want me, Colbalt. She said calmly. I will be your mate. She said then turned to Hurricane. Her words almost sounded like a desperate cry, that she wanted him too. She looked hard at Hurricane wondering if her assumption was correct or not. She could not tell just by what she was seeing right now.
She looked to Colbalt the strong stallion made her blood rush faster. There were few if any stallions that would make a better father for foals destined for greatness.
Re: Pride of Utopia « Reply #9 on Dec 1, 2007, 3:23pm »
As both the mares spoke, Colbalt closed his eyes, why had he asked her she probably already had a handsome stallion who was waiting for her at her home with foals that were to be future king or queen of the neutrals. But as she spoke, a sigh of relief was released from his maw, he had a mate and beautiful one to. He gave the queen another nuzzle before speaking softly into her ear.
Hope this doesn't hurt.
He came around to the queen's rump and mounted her, he unsheathed his tool and began to break through her virgin walls. Hoping he wasn't hurting her, but he got a bit carried away, and when he felt his seed release into her he took our his tool and thrust it back in several times before he dismounted her and came around to her front and demanded.
Clean me.
He was not going to sheath his tool yet, there was a mixture of blood and seed on it. He wanted to clean before he sheathed it, that is what they always did right?

She watched him as he walked around. He wanted to do this now. She looked at Hurricane wide eyed. She closed her eyes and winced against the pain as he did his task. She opened her eyes when he finished and looked at him when he returned. And then began to clean him as he demanded.
She then looked up at him with a quiet demeanor about him, and then returned her gaze to Hurricane. It had been more painful than she had expected but it was over now. She was still surprised that he had wanted to do it now in front of another.
She knew from that moment that things would never be the same between the three and this scared her. She now had a duty to Colbalt even though it was never stated being his mate meant a change for her, for her herd.
She looked at him and all of the doubt vanished from her mind. There were no worries the worst was over. She had at least one great offspring to come soon. It was an amazing feeling to know that she was soon to be a mother of foals destined to be great.

The dew on the ground did look like tears. From deities or from the eyes of mortals, what did Angel’s have to cry about? Maybe it was too much, to say out loud. What if Angels were really the deceased souls of the unhappy, chosen to serve god forever? Peace might never come to an Angel, she might be doomed to walk in hell, doing petty errands forever to prove that there’s always more than one side to a story. For all the songs made and sung, no tears would ever be shed from an angel’s eyes. Angel’s can’t cry- everything they have done has been brought on them by the own spite from their own heart. Maybe by shining, serving and being as perfect as possible, God might someday grant them a tear of remorse. Until then, their eyes will be as dry as deserts.
I am a girl with a simple dream. With a simple wish, one desire to fufill. My parents had been the same, and I felt no shame to admit my similarities to them. It somehow justified my hatred for them and our entire kind. The heart has strange ways of feeling love. Sometimes it makes a person so happy- it’s almost unbearable. Sometimes love makes people violent- desperate and moody. The classic case is the stuttering around the named person, blushing and such lark. If I had gone to a doctor’s- he would have told me nothing. Love isn’t a thing you can get a prescription for, although you don’t know how many times I wish it was so. I was been brought up with the saying ‘there is always a choice’. This had proved against all of my life- what choice can there be? There is no excitement, nothing when I’m around him. Just that dull ‘thunk thump’ in my chest, reminding me that I am alive, and I am an Angel. The tears on the ground aren’t mine- there was nothing in the past to cry about. Maybe in the future, for such revenge was bound to cause pain on my part.
It hurt me to hate them so much. Fools that they were, they were the only family I had. Blood is thicker than water. They needed a taste of the anger and despair they had caused me, those stupid lights needed a good firm taste of reality outside their little happy bubble that i was prone to bursting. Anything endangering their perfect life needed quick and painless extermination, i was there to stop that.
With a skid stop, I arrived in the place in which I had intended to. My amber eyes scanned the three equines gathered in the spot where their ancestors had so long ago, and I felt irritation. With a charismatic toss of my mane, I cantered over, my eyes slits of green fire. I looked at Eclipse and Cobalt. They had just bred, I could tell my the scent coming off Eclipse. Honestly. I spoke in my darkly accented voice, husky from the cold temporatures I had come from.
"How cosy. Sorry to gatecrash your little party here," I tossed in a disdainful way towards Eclipse, my cruel indifference similar to a dark's. I turned silently to the three, something hidden burning in my eyes.
OOC: I know i'm not meant to be here, but you'll see why i am next post!

As the queen bent down and started to clean him Colbalt heard another horse cantering toward them. He turned before she spoke, hackles rising he scented her as a neutral immediately he turned to Eclipse his voice thundered.
Who is this Eclipse? You know that others are not supposed to come to this meeting! What will our ancestors think?.
He began pacing, thinking why could this queen be here? What would their ancestors think of another being at their meeting? Slowly he faced the neutral and spoke his voice full or anger.
I know that I am a dark and you are a neutral, but what the heck are you doing here?! Surely you must know that this is for leaders of the alliances only? I have every right to hurt you! Though your leader is my mate so I won't, now please explain yourself.
Colbalt had never been so ashamed of himself, he kept thinking of how he let another come to one of the leaders meetings. Over and over again he thought of what the almighty Klamity would think once he found out that his grandson had let such filth to the meeting.
The mare watched as another mare came into the meeting, Eclipse had just finished cleaning Colbalt's tool. She knew that this mare made the wrong decision in coming, not while Colbalt was there anyway. Immediately Colbalt started yelling at the mare, all she could say was.
Colbalt please, she probably didn't know.
She cried over the stallion's thunderous voice. She moved toward the new queen and whispered into her ear.
Don't worry, he is always like this.
While she said the word 'always' she added a sigh, slowly she whispered again.

OOC: That isn't possible. Sorry, but it is in the rules that the leads of the alliances must have the blood line of another lead (thier ancestors). Sorry.
