Incidentally, Nobodies are running amock and, combined with the Heartless, are causing more chaos than ever. Together, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, and others seek to completely destroy the Organization.
Hello there literate roleplayers. Are you tired of bland Light vs. Dark plots, equine RPGs that all seem the same, and plots that don't affect your character?
Well we've got a surprise for you. At The Secret it's not just about good and evil. In fact, good and evil don't have a lot to do with things. No matter whose side you're on, you can be as nice or as cruel as you see fit. But if you live in the north you'd better be tough if you want to stay alive. Here's a summary of what kinds of characters you can make:
Southern equines: The Resistance. You like freedom and would rather be left to your own devices. Conquering is not really your thing, you just want to be left alone to start a herd. Weakland equines: The Captives. You keep your head down and hope you don't get beaten up too often. You dream of escaping to the south, but know you'll be killed for trying. Mostly mares live here, though there is a small number of stallions. They usually get beaten down the most so they can't rebel. Northern equines: Tartarus's Legions. You work for the mastermind, Tartarus, the one who blew the news about the object of power out into the open. You answer to his captain Atlas, and you spend your time fighting, bullying mares in the Weaklands, and training colts for the army. If you have any spare time you can gather a small herd. Haven of Hesperides: The Secret Keepers. You know not hate nor greed, and you live within the walls of the Haven. You may leave to explore, but other equines seem so different to you. You live in peace and philosophy, seeking knowledge and enlightenment. But you know what is brewing, and the battle will come to your doorstep even though they cannot break down the door.

There was peace once, though by now it is but a distant memory in the minds of those old enough to remember. There was order and cohesion, and nothing to fear. The Keepers of Hesperides stayed within their walled Haven, and none disrupted their peace. There was always a rumor that an object of unspeakable power lay hidden within those great walls, but in time the rumor grew dull with age. But now a young stallion, maddened with greed, is gathering all the information he can about this mysterious object of celestial power. Flanked by the powerful drafts of the northern lands, he is murdering and taking prisoners left and right. There is only a handful of southern herds that stand against him, led by the mysterious Theseus. If they are vanquished, the Keepers will be on their own. Chaos and uncertainty abound. How much longer can the forces of reason hold off this madman?

Do you like vampires? Care for a bit of adventure?
The House of Night Rp forum is based off of the House of Night series. Young fledglings that have recently been marked come to learn more about the Change that they are going through to becoming vampyre's. As you travel through your years at the school you see classmates around you die. Their body's rejected the Change. It is an uncontrollable part of turning into a vampyre and 1 out of 10 fledglings die because of it.
Will you survive the Change? There's only one way to find out.
You play sabretooth cats in a varied landscape. You can play a clan cat, a cadre cat or a loner/drifter. A simple, open plot has been created to kick start the game but players may create their own plots too. It has a few similarities to Warriors RPGs, but is an original game and stands on its own without using Warriors terms.
Plot: Dar-Calugthoth, leader of the Fearhorde, prepares his forces to face off against a conspiracy that's brewing out of control. Meanwhile, the conspirators have named themselves the Doomhorde and prepare to do battle over ownership of the Harrow.
Meanwhile, in Blueice Clan, Ninku the fighter sabrecat prepares to single-handedly slaughter an invading cadre of cats into his sister's cadre's territory. It just might be a bloody scene.
And in Rillan territory, Dar-Wawkah prepares for new arrivals at his cadre. But along the wind comes the scent of an invader who has returned to claim what's his, though an ill-made bargain.
This RPG opened up on March 11, 2008. So far we have over 3000 posts and 80 members. So if anyone wants to get in on a new, yet active, game and start characters with powerful positions, here's your chance. {Be sure to read the rules!}

Forgotten Trust
Humans populated the Earth and Horses were second in line of being the Top of the food chain. All horses were Domestic in those times until the Humans knew it was coming. WWIII had already started and the humans had turned the horses loose. Onto every Island that there was so they were safe. The humans all died out, horses were alone and devastated. They mangaged to travel to other places and repopulate but the blow was hard and half of the species was swiped out. The others had been used for battle and lots had to breed and help the island to make the equines popular, while other animals came to the island they got frightened, fighting and doing everything they shouldn’t.
Equines split in three. Light, Dark and neutral alliances. The Lights took parts of the Land and the Darks did aswell. The neutrals put themselves between the two alliances as they were Half Dark and Light so they couldn’t allow them to fight. It made the Darks angry and attack the Lights, taking over Land which they lost by a king. The king died soon and so the Darks moved out because they said the Land was boring, but soon some travellers stayed here and found it lovely. Soon it was popular and the Equines were thriving the World but this Land was by far the most popular and successful. But now again the Lights and Darks are going to try for Battle. But will they accept this Challenge? What side will the Neutrals go onto? You deicide this fate..

It all started with some mangy stray mutts. Lost they were until they were impounded, confined, caged... That is until one day three men entered the old pound. Hundreds of rows of dogs were everywhere. The men were dressed like any other person in the city, seemed like the ordinary- but that was only a disguise to bring down the suspicion. They were all a lab group, or science team. They purchased every single dog in the entire pound until every cell was vacant.
They took the dogs in vans. Each scientist acting as if they hadn't known the other. They sent in more of their workers to take three or four dogs with them each day, as if they were buying them for their own liking. All the dogs that were in the trucks and vans were rounded up and shipped to the team's lab. It was when they had completed getting every dog into pens did they begin their experiment. It was illegal, but even though they knew it was, they only did it for 'the greater good' of man kind. The whole reason for the experiment was to sharpen human senses; smell, sight, hearing, and to make them more stronger, faster, and quick witted. Their test subjects: Canines.
They began injecting chemicals and substances that seemed unknown to many into the dogs. Trying each and every thing. Though every time they failed, another canine dead... another lab-rat nobody cared for, a worthless mangy mutt. At least that's how they saw it. At the team's last attempt at the experiment, they failed. After that the team decided to shut it all down, they would not be able to return the surviving dogs to the pound. There were 50 total dogs that had been tested with the same substance, the same chemicals. The team had gathered them all together in a small chamber, and turned on their destructive machines. Clouds of gas had filled the room. This was to dispose of the dogs, once they breathed it in, they would suffocate to death.
All the canines had went unconscious- not dead like the crew had thought. When the procedure had been completed the heavy door was slide open, and workers filled the room to drag out the limp bodies. As they did, one by one each dog staggered to it's paws, foaming at the mouth. Each with sharp eye sight, hearing, strong sense of smell, and they were stronger, faster, and quick witted... Gas, it was the last thing that completed their evolution. The team had gotten what they wanted, but lost their workers. Each and everyone of them were brutally slaughtered by the jaws of a dog. The jaws of a reject, a reject they had created. Though with a drop of blood to add to the canines, it had made them more aggressive, territorial, and violent.
Later on after the Rejects, which is the name were dubbed with, sought shelter. All of them stayed in a group, though as the pack stuck together they began to realize things they could not withstand. One, being light. In faint rays of light they are fine, but by day they are blinded by then sun. Only in the shadows they walk, rarely do they venture out in daylight. Another defect is their hearing, it is extremely sharp and could hear you from miles away. Though if whistles or high pitch noises are heard, they go into fits. They don't keep to themselves when this happens either. It's more like a massacre. With these threatening canines around the packs have continuously been invaded. Innocent dogs have been slain without mercy, pups have been stolen, Fae's have been taken from the lack of their own, being misused for the dreaded packs own purpose. The Rejects have started to take prisoners, making Fae's slaves, ambushing packs...
Loved ones taken, friends and close ones murdered, pups arriving into a world of violence and malice, becoming corrupted.. It was all peaceful until the the experiments birth. It is anew for one, but it is the end for some. In order for the packs to save their lives will they have to fight back? Risk it all? Or will it be every dog for themselves? All the packs pride has had much damaged inflicted upon it already, will they fall before the malicious pack? Only you can choose their destiny now. Hope seems lost for all the packs against these power hungry canines. Though it has only just begun. Meet a match.. Meet your maker... it's a dog-eat-dog world out there now.

||| Both campuses used to be one single school called Naoki Academy. Named after the secluded place that the campus had been placed in, the town, and surrounding areas almost framing it. Keeping the shape-shifters who lived within its borders safe from the world; and all who would wish the ‘Freaks, Monsters, Killers, Murders, etc...’ death, or worse - and believe me there are worse things than death. The town its self getting bigger all the time, building new editions to suit the everyday needs, and creating jobs for the adults, and older teens who took up residence to pay for the stuff they needed to survive.
||| The school its self was built in this place to give the children who craved an education from the outside world a place to go, and learn about all the subjects that the outsiders had, and a specialized P.E. program to keep both of their forms in shape. It used to be all great, the town, the school, and the shape-shifters all getting along so well… If only something so great that would seem like paradise in most eyes, even the people of the outside world would find it, as a welcomed freedom to know where you stand with everyone.
||| Then a betrayal took place. One of the first year equine students was murdered by a wolf, though none know who, or what lead up to the event. The not knowing drove some to hate the others even worse. The turmoil between the wolves, and the horses a like just got worse, brooding over time. The long drawn out process of what could have been the start of an all out school civil war had begun. The teachers couldn’t handle the students like this; it was getting worse by the day at times.
||| So after a hard decision was made. funding, and supplies were brought in, and the Academies were split into two different places. A place for the wolf shape-shifters was made on the upper east side of town called Birchwood Academy, an another place was built on the lower eastern side of town called Willow brook Academy. Both safe and far enough apart that the students can focus on their school work without worrying, but even so the ultimate goal is to merge the two Academies once more, ultimately reuniting Naoki into the paradise it once was.
||| The goal its self seems so simple yes, but you have to factor in the normal emotions, and the nature of things, and you know that it is going to be a long hard battle, and things are going to get worse before they get better, that is if they ever do. The plan worked for another set of years that seemed to pass by, but things slowly started to slip out of hand again. The hate that had started at the school many years ago, now spread throughout some of the dwellings of the town. The underground workings of both sides sending young, and old alike to the hospital, or into dept over the ruins of their homes, and businesses causing amounting tension all around from the now separate Academies to the places in town where both sides walked the streets.

A preview of our plot (Taken from our website): As written in the Book of Souls… Long ago there was nothing but a single star in the black void of space. Slowly the star grew old, and its color changed from a bright yellow to an angry red. As all stars do when they grow old, this one exploded. The entire universe shook with the impact of the single star’s explosion while boulders the size of planets flew from the star’s core amongst the gas and flames. For thousands upon thousands of years the flames slowly died out, and the boulders spread to the farthest reaches of space. The force of gravity created many more stars as the largest boulders attracted flames and gas toward them. Many other rocks crashed into larger ones and disintegrated forever more. It was a time of chaos and destruction that should never be forgotten.....Click here to read more!

The rope is taunt about your neck, unwillingly holding you to a tree. It seems no matter how your stretch and pull, it won't budge, but only holds tighter. What you thought was your fellow equine comes to take you away. To where? To a life of torture and submission; of slavery. You jerk back, suffocating. Wounds burn, muscles strain, hooves slide in the muck of the earth. No matter how much you fight, you cannot defeat .fate. Wolves howl in the distance, and you know as good as any, that they await the same...

When warfare limited the human population down to one continent, it left all of North America empty of humans and full of wildlife. Animals flourished again, and the environment turned back tot he way it used to be. Deer sprang from every forest and horses ran wild on the plains. Wolves prowled in the woods, birds sang in the trees. It seemed all was well until some sort of leadership seemed to take form among the animals. This leadership grew within two species in particular; the horse and the wolf. It grew so powerful, they began to fear it. As it turns out, the species were being pitted against their own kind. Horses were keeping horses as slaves. Stallions holding mares captive, beating them, using them for whatever they wished. Wolves were just the same. All of them wild and powerful. There were a select few who banded together; the rebels. They tried to get other horses/wolves to stop keeping slaves and go back to normal. Some succeeded, others were merely killed. Some are still at work today...Were they fated to end in warfare like their human counterparts? Or can they reverse this vicious cycle and return to living in normal herds and packs?
